Microsoft Windows Vista and Office 2007
Availability
In May 2008 Windows Vista will replace Windows XP on all new computer purchases of a Windows UConn HuskyPC:
In May 2008 Microsoft Office 2007 will replace Microsoft Office 2003 on all new computer purchases of a Windows UConn HuskyPC:
New computers purchased between now and May will be shipped with Windows XP and Office 2003 installed.
Support, Education, and Training
It is recommended that UConn faculty and staff become familiar with Windows Vista and Office 2007 before May 2008 as each introduces a different interface and functionality. Training resources and important information about each of the products is provided below:
